Did anyone fish today? I took my dog to Sandbridge to run on the beach at about 1 and about 200 yards offshore was a huge beehive of birds that worked for over an hour. At anytime I am sure there were between 500-700 birds if not more. I was right out in front of the Sandbridge Mart, where they built the new condos. I didnt see one boat anywhere in sight. Would have been a nice day to be out there.

The surface Temperature went up past the 42 degree mark for the first time in a few days .

I received a call at work today around 1230 saying that there were thousands of gannets and gulls beehiving just west of the entrance bouy at Lynnhaven. It was killing me but there was no way I could get off to go check it out. Hopefully someone got into some good catch and release!!!!

Went out there this afternoon, beautiful weather with a bit of a breeze....though I didn't catch anything but the sight of a few pilot whales, a first for me interestingly enough, as the evening wore on.
