VA Beach is great and poquoson is a great place on the peninsula. I catch enough for the day in a netfull or two when i'm trying to get spot. I have not quite figured out how to keep menhaden alive yet thats why i usually stick with spot. Do you have any idea how to keep them alive? Thanks

You need a big live well with lots of circulation. Also keep the water fresh as possible.

One trick is to have a round baitwell if it has corners they will swim strait into and drown if your well isn`t round or oval you can make a shad tank all it is is a 55 gallon drum with the pumps hooked and drain it over the side
