Is there a shelf life for blood worm fish bites? I have 2 packages left over from last year and I'm wondering if they'll still work. Thanks.

The Fishbites have no shelf life. They are supposed to be ready year after year. That is one of the reasons they are desirable. They do begin to change color, but that is supposed to not effect them.
Let me know if there are any problems, I am a Prostaff for Fishbites.

They get a white haze on them, but the haze will wear off as soon as it's in the water. I know if they are not kept in the bag they will dry out and harden into a beef jerky looking strip.

I bought 4pkg. off ebay 2 yrs. ago, still have 2, and outside the white chalky buildup, I find no problem with them, like Eric said once wet they look ok. Just keep them dry and out of the sun..

The Fishbite website says that unless you keep them in the glove box of the truck, they have no limit on shelf life. Personally, I keep my artificial (fishbites & gulp) baits in the vegetable crisper in the fridge. The fish bites are over 2 years old and still catch fish. Water is pretty much the only thing that will cause fishbites to deteriorate.
