Got off work this morning, watched the F-1 qualifying from istanbul turkey. Loaded up my tog fishing rod and one of my avets and headed out in search of menhaden and cobia to see if I couldnt put some blood on my new 2007 classicseacraft.com Tshirt. Found both. no blood just fish crap because I wasn't possitive he would go length so I netted him. Got two cobia on my tog rod one was a dink and the other is about 40lbs. Lots of fun on light tackle. Gave about a dozen live menhaden to someone I saw out there and headed home about 11am.

Good on ya! I was going to do the same trip but after seeing the forcast and the winds kick up yesterday I decided to stay dry. Looks like I should have gone as the winds still look calm................
CONGRATS!! Is that a Sceptor? (sp?) or a CC? Nice boats.

I didn't ever actually measure the fish but the fuel compartment hatch is 48" and he was only a couple inches shy of the hatch. I thought I was giving the menhaden to someone from this site, I was thinking I had read on here the way they were fishing.
