went out to the 4th 3rd 2nd islands, we caught 3 keepers 19.5 + , flounders,, 3lb spade, and a 1lb black sea bass ,
WE ARE NEW TO BAY FISHING. so we think we had a pretty good day.
We didn't have any live bait with us. We used croaker strips that we caught and froze from our last trip on the James. We used up all our (Chartuse, chartoose,)
GREEN flounder rigs. Thats what they were likeing.

What kind of bait were ya'll using. we was hoping to catch some live bait in a throw net, but didn't have any luck there.
We going to make a better efford on the live bait next time.
Congrats on your 2 nice keepers also.

We were using croaker cut into strips.Sometimes we had a strip of squid and croaker. But aith the squid the croaker kept biting the rig.as for the flounder rigs we used pink, white, and green. We also tried to catch some bait in crab creek. But that didn,t work to well with all the boat traffic at the ramp.
