Thank you i am new to salt water and off shore it all is exciting still if i drift or troll or pitch i would like good eating fish like spade or rock i have a 23ft sea fox that might give you the distance i have been to c light tower one time i fell in love with spade animal-smiley-077.gif
Honey Hole
Bouy hopping for cobia - pitching live baits.

Trolling for Spanish Macks.

Live bait the tower for Jack Crevalle / Amberjack / Cuda / Cobia

Drift for Flounder

Read all the other reports. Your in a good area for fish. Spade might be hard to get on a hook, and rocks are a few months away for keeping.

Your best bet at good eating fish is cobia and flounder. Cobia can be had in the bay or bouy line. Flounder in the bay near the CBBT hot spots.

I've launched out of rudee a few times but i like lynnhaven a little better i think it offers more for a shorter run to CBBT downside you gotta pay to launch upside it's a shorter run but the flounder is better.
