Left the inlet @ 5:00 am. Heading to the deep water. Shortly, ran into some close swells and chop. 4 to 6 all day. 55 miles east. Managed to get what we came for, a white marlin release early 8:45. At around noon got closer to the fleet with several boats hooked up. Short rigger goes off, goes deep, nearly dumped a 50. 1.5 hours later, after some second guessing and speculation a giant MOLA MOLA. Plenty of joking & kidding at this point. Trolled for a little while longer, came on back to the dock. Did see a blue to port while reelin in the mola. Rough seas, but alot of fun. Everyone was smiling on the ride back in.......Richard

Yea, the Mola gave several clues that it wasn't what we we're there for. It went straight down behind the outboards. It was just different. We we're on my buddies Pursuit 3070.
