Here she comes. Maybe this will turn things on for next week. Guess what, it's 7:20 am Saturday and the VB Buoy is 2 knots with 2 knots off Rudee Inlet. Should have launched this morning.

It will be interesting to see if this blow brings deep cooler water to the surface .... if it does it could be the end of the whites ..... and it might usher in the BIG tuna season.

I hoping Mike that after it exits some cooler water from up north will get filtered in and get the fall tuna bite rocking!

OI charter captains explain to me that BIG blows stir the water column and cool the surface temps .... which usually cause September white to scatter .....

Just when you think you have it figured out .... eveything changes with this sport. Based on my 15 years fishing off OI the first cool front that makes it offshore usually cause the whites to concentrate near the 000's. They seem to hang around until the first September hurricane passes by, after that they are gone.
