Sorry for the tease fellas, but We were beat.
Left Rudee and headed towards the Norfolk in the best sea conditions we've seen in weeks...3 foot rollers at most. Got to our spot and set lines. We look north east and see the entire Ocean City MD fleet coming in hot. We knew we were in the right spot if they came that far to fish. Nothing for about the first hour and then Dr Klar(Neal's Dad) sees a boil on the surface. Troll past it and then left teaser gets dragged under. Fish comes off the teaser and suicides the left short Islander...off and running. While I'm watching line peel off, Bob sees a fish on the right long dink. Feeds it once, feeds it twice, fish still not on, then the third time Bob's hooked up...Double header bills. Get mine in for clean release start to work on Bob's...

A Little Air...

Clean release on his..two bills in by 10:00. Circle around and then comes the school...Short gets hit left long hit, right long hit..all different fish. Bob feeds again and his hooked up to number 3. Regroup and circle. Left long gets hit and I feed..hooked up and released. 4 Whites by 11:00.
Had 2 others take line on the left long and left short, but never tight. At Noon the left short Islander gets slammed again and is running...we're thinking blue amrlin again. We set chase and released another lit up white marlin. 2 of the whites came in on horse ballyhoos with islanders.
Saw a pack of 5-6 whites cutting the surface balling up baits. The entire morning we'd hook up and back down on fish only to see 3-4 other boats around us doing the same. Looked like striper season in the bay. We saw around 15-18 other fish near the boat or in spread besides the ones we caught. Fish were thick.
Awesome day and Wired Up was top dog for Rudee Inlet !! Neal Larry and Bob..thanks for a great day of fishing!!!
