So far it's looking like the weekend weather is going to suck. Looks like a cold front will come through at some point on Saturday dropping the overnight low to around 59....which is exactly what we need to start pushing the tuna down our way.
We will be doing Wish-a-Fish on Saturday so I hope I remember how to catch croaker and spot for the kids.

This weekend is not like last...Navy wave forecast are showing bigger seas like NOAA's. May not be pulling a calm day out of this one.

Looking at fishweather.com, the Saturday forecast for the VA Beach buoy has winds ranging from 4 - 13 knots.
Fishweather VA Beach BuoyI'm heading out on Saturday, leaving at 4 am from Little Creek. I haven't decided on the destination, but am leaning towards the Fingers & Norfolk Canyon.
His Doghouse Too will be scanning 16, 68, and 78. MMSI 367-106-290.

Still some subtle breaks out there, no significant ones but I would still fish the subtle breaks. The water around the weather buoy looks tempting.

Navy Wave is showing some bigger stuff than what NOAA is predicting and they're usually dead on. 5-7 foot wind wave on Sat with a pocket of 7-9 Significant Wave, too.
Sun is 4-5 with 5-7 Significant Wave.
Be careful if any one goes out...and catch some fish!!
