Hey Guys, I can't go saturday, so am trying to maybe go friday if waves settle down to try and beat the crowd of the weekend and am seeing if anybody is interested in going for the day

Hey cartoon, why don't you trade Neal the Guy Harvey Painting in leu of a trip on Friday......sounds like a fair trade to me!!

I wouldn't mind going friday, I am new at offhore, been on a couple of charters and I've had my boat out twice this year. Really would like to expand my knowledge, Just let me know what I need to do.

Thanks for the replies guys, I am going to check the weather tomorrow and make sure the forecast is good. It is rough as shit now and needs to calm down a little, but hopefully a go. So, I will get up with you all tomorrow. The only other issue is that is has been so cloudy, no satellite shots, so it's going to be a crapshoot these next few days

It's all in how you look at it, you essentially bought the print for $10.00.....So a guided offshore trip with an experienced captain, awesome boat, and top notch gear would be worth wayyyyy more than the cost that you have in the painting. Heck, you don't even want the durn thing!!! Although the cost would be high for the captain on this one.....he has to pay for the boat, fuel, gear...and then fish with you all day....he may not think it is worth it!!!

Should you guys go on Friday, please post Friday pm as kent and I are going Sat am. We are in the same boat with no temp shots and no intel. Good luck!

alright guys, I appreciate all the contacts for tomorrow. After consulting the local expert (don ), talking to my mechanic ( who says I should run my boat locally tomorrow since he just replaced my salt water pump, two thermostates and exhaust risor yesterday), and looking at the weather and no satellite shots due to cloud cover, I think I am going to stay local tomorrow and try to get offshore sunday. That way YOU guys can do the homework I think it will we fishable tomorrow, but i don't think anybody has a clue where to go. We may be able to get a sat shot tomorrow and I know some boats who will be out there in the tournament, so should get some good intel for the weekend. Sorry for letting y'all down.

That's why you're the Captain Neal...to call the shots. We know where we're going Saturday, just not sure in exactly which direction or distance. We'll post when we know.

It's a crap shoot, but this time of year we have had good luck turning left out of RI. Unless I hear otherwise, we plan to set up on the 200 line between 50 and 100 fathoms.
