OK...intel tells me lots of whites and some Wahoo's up north along the canyon....good weedlines from the fingers east with lots of Mahi hanging around....

Being the hardhead that I am...I am going to fish where apparently nobody else fished today..we're gonna head to the Cigar and see if the Tuna are hanging around there.....I saw 3 YFT caught today and 1 longfin....

So if we don't get any good vibes by 1000 or so we're gonna put Still Think'n in gear and head north.....so I'll be south tomorrow for anybody else that's fishing..at least for the morning...leaving Owls Creek 0400.....

were the tuna caught north or south?

we fished the 650 outta OI today and the water was green as the grass. We did not have many marks at all, ended the day with one black fin tuna. Had 4 knockdowns on the planer rod but could not get um' tight. We had a tuna sky right behind the boat over are damn spreader bar but did not hit it. That was it for us today, very slow, and nasty green water. Most of what I saw people had luck not much better than us, we saw very fiew YFT cought but there were some here and there. But of course the fleet did good from the few boats we saw at the dock, good size wahoo and a few big YFT's in the 70lb range. But some charters had a very minimal catch as well. We found no bait nor marked any fish, and we fished the Tuna hole to the 650 and all around from 30fat to 100fat. So good luck tomorrow, should be nice weather.

Everybody we talked to did well on the hoos and marlin on the North Wall of the Canyon. We had some boat issues and ened staying inshore.
