Beat from the trip, but wanted to pass on some intel from the Canyon today. Good Wahoo bite reported. Plenty of False Albie action and some gaffer Mahi reported. Marlin action was hot! The Canyon and 6 miles south was good, plenty of sulpher lines and weeds to follow. Fish were on the cold side of the breaks!!!!!
50 Fathoms was best. Good luck, more tomorrow!

Ended with one Mahi, bailer, 7 FA's (released), 4 or five other knockdowns, one big Blue on the surface we trolled around for two passes, and the WM catch/releaase. Solid action, great day, memorable billfish, but not much meat in the box. Great talking with Water Dog, Rock'n Robbin, and Volunteer!!!
Blue and White Get Reel Tiki Bar was the hot lure and got the White Marlin also! Vollunteer had been on the radio joking around saying he wanted his money back from Don for the Get Reel Mini Bars he bought, and called back 15 minutes later...you guessed it, with a White Marlin caught on the Blue/White Mini Bar!!!

tom, unfortuantly because our boat was pretty far from yours and i wasn't on solid ground, the camera was shaky, especially being on a boat. so the video was worthless, i was able to grab that shot. but from where we were i couldnt see more then some splashing so sorry.

Kudos, My wife is geting ready to head offshore on her second trip and I hope to get the opportunity to throw her ass off the boat if she is entitled to it. She is sitting here beside me as I type this.

OK...small problemo with the video. its done. but too big to put on youtube. they have a 10min and 100mb upload limit....the video is 15mins and about 483mbs. so i gotta figure something else out before i can post it on here.
