Headed out to the CLT with my neighbor Ross to score some jacks. First 20 seconds we get doubled up on two screamers. Mine goes into the tower, Ross works his out with a drum rod and brings in a 46 incher. Get back and it was on again with another screamer but breaks off. Hooked up again but wraps the tower and break off another on powerpro, then another. Bite was hot but getting frustrating. Had to wait on the next bite, a whole minute, finally work em loose and I land another 46. Look back to see the tower wearing a belt of boats. Headed in to find some flounder at the CBBT, with no success. Along the way we stopped at some buoys to find a lone cobia who doesn't like spot. Oh well, good pullage in the morning and finally got some paper in 07.

saw chumlord out there the other day and when he hooked up he would full throtle away for about 400yds then fight the fish, looked odd but seemed to work to get them away from the tower.

We went out there Saturday, but the tower was too full to get in. I think the snorklers probably had the jacks at bay also.
