Back when there used to be a grandview pier (before hurricane isabel smashed it), guys used to throw cut-bait at night from the end of the pier to the edges of the lights. There were times when they would catch cobia. Other than that, I have never heard of anyone catching, or targeting cobia at night. On a similar vein, I was reading in my saltwater mag about how everyone traditionally targets swordfish at night, but now there's this guy thats developed a method for catching swordfish during the middle of the day, didn't read all the particulars, but you never know...

On Friday nights I prefer blondes. Picked up a citation on the oceanfront the other night....had an Adam's apple though, had to throw her back. Does that count as a release citation?....with an asterisk...like Bonds??? biggrin.gif
