Put my boat in at Bubbas around 2:15 this afternoon and headed to my lucky spot...at the split right past Longbay, I hang a right and go under the bridge. Up about half way between the bridge and the opening to the mouth of the river I start my drift...drift some more...nothing...drift again....nothing. As soon as the tide started to change one 22' pup in the box. Drift again, another 23' pup in the box. A few more drifts, nothing. Then boated 2 more in the range of 23' and 24' in the box. Leave my spot, clean my four fish (there were 2 of us for those of you who think I kept 4 ) Boat is back on my trailer by 5:00 and I'm eating fresh fish bites at 6:30. Beautiful day, another successful trip. Oh, and I'm a lady angler and my first mate was a lady angler too. Anyone else wants to go with me sometime, PM me! My husband loves that he gets fresh fish!!!

Congrats. I saw the two of you fishing Sun. At least I assume it was you...the only two women boat in the channel. We were out for a ride with the kids to the beach at 1st Landing, but were jealously watching everyone fishing.

Congrats on the fishing! I wish I could muster up a day like that!
