Fished yesterday using live finger mullet and small spot and I caught 15 tb flounder 12-17" , 4 blues(1-2lbs) , 2 stripers ( 16&17" ) and I was using shrimp on a bottom rig on my other rod and caught 6 decent spot and a couple of croaker then security showed up and said I was trespassing and told me I had to move out pass the red bouy !? That red bouy is pretty damn far out. Does anyone know exactly how far out you have to be ? I fished for about 2 hours before they ran me off and after about an hour 2 guys showed up and saw me throw a flounder back and dropped anchor right beside me. I was throwing my live bait back on an outgoing tide and slowly retrieving it and catching like crazy until the 2 guys let there anchor line out further so they were behind me now and they were casting right across the back of my boat and screwing up how I was fishing! I bit my tongue and just started throwing up current.I still had a blast despite security and a couple morons.

They don't know...sometimes they say its 500 ft, sometimes its 500 yards. I always try to stay out a little ways and cast as far as I can to the hole. I'm suprised you didn't get any puppy drum, we smacked them there last year this time.

Yea no pups and I even used live and cut mullet but the small flounders were tearin it up as soon as it hit the bottom. I hear ya on who's on duty too , I picked the wrong shift that day. I would have just taken that live bait to the hrbt but that damn north blow has been going on. Thanks for the reply.
