Me and the fam are heading down to our house in Nags Head for easter weekend and are looking forward to a couple days on the water. Is anything biting, either off shore or inshore? I know the tuna bite has been on, and on a calm day we might head out, but it would be more likely we would stay in and around the inlet. Any heads up would be appreciated.

Another good day's tuna fishing. Boats were reurning with limits of yellowfins in the early afternoon. It has been a sunny day with moderate wind conditions. An intrduction to the type of days we can expect to have shortly. Tommorrow they are calling for rain and a south west wind. Easter is very early this year. We hope it is nice weather so people can enjoy their Easter observances. It is good to see good tuna catches being made by the few boats fishing for them. Most of the charter boats are getting fixed up for the coming season. Many will return by the weekend.
