Took off on Tuesday with Pop and squidstick from the board.
Despite reports of no fish we headed out in calm seas.
We 1st hit the weather buoy looking for a hoo but none to be
found so we headed west to deeper water and saw alot of
porpoise but no tuna. Came back in to the weather buoy and saw
an Atlantic Sunfish, huge fish. He was just being lazy on the surface.
We saw a second one later that believe it or not air out of the water
about 20 ft from the boat with a huge splash. We ended up the
day with some fat alberts and a trigger fish. We saw a few tiny
mahi and that was about it.
We also got surprized buzzed by a jet came from behind out of nowhere
hauling ass once he was over us he went ballistic straight up with
afterburners glowing. (Showoff)
We also saw a Helo cruising around that came by us also.
Man what channel are you guys on? How about some tuna or
weedline reports while we are out there? Can you be hailed on 16?
