Sure can be exciting...and frustrating. Most luck seems to be on slow trolled live baits. Good luck!
Tight lines. :mat: laughing_smiley.gif

We're leaving out early tomorrow morning in search of Kings. The game plan is to leave out of Little Creek early and head east toward the tower trolling from Cape Henry on. We will turn Southest from the tower and head towards Sandbridge and then back North once we reach Sandbridge.
Drone spoons and rigged ballyhoo at different depths and one skipping across the top way back is the plan. We'll try to cast net some live menhaden or catch some spot also. Anyway wish us luck

Went out yesterday with Hangtime to the C.L.T and thats where they are. We got one but saw everyone catching. They are under the light tower feeding on the bait.
Good luck!!

I have heard, troll as slow as you can go.
Mega Bite
For spoons 6 or 7 knots gets them. For live bait just fast enough to keep your boat moving in the same direction.1 Knot or so.If your pulling plugs you might not be able to go 6 knots maybe about 4 knots.
