Click to view attachmentHEY YA'LL I had the pleasure of being in the western caribbean last week on a cruise. Went on a 1/2 day offshore trip finely got some pullage!!!!!
It started slow trolling about 1/2 mi. off the yucatan moved out to 1-2 mi. caught
a couple of nice mahi-mahi.Then we hit the mother load found a floating tree and
had multipul hook-ups on each pass wahoo mahi-mahi and sand sharks
Igot some great photos of mahi-mahi in flight and a vidieo of my gilfriend fighting 60-80 lbs sharks with the Captain backing down on the fish and my girlfreind getting drenched!!!!!! from the spray. laugh.gif
we caught 8 mahi-mahi 5 wahoo and three sharks not bad for a 1/2 dayer.
The only bad part was 1-leaving while they were still bighting and 2-we didn't get
too keep any of the fish!!! whitch sucked, but all in all had a great time. you should of seen the Captain ,He couldn't wait to get rid of us to go sell the fish!!!

Also did some snorkling and had an underwater camera and got some close-ups of a sea turtule. cool.gif

Nice work sounds like a good day. Did they have all the beer you can drink? Many of the trips I have been on in the Caribbean included all the food and drinks. I'm headed to St. Lucia in June and may try a trip.

As for keeping fish, my guess is the capt has in the contract that the boat keeps all fish. Also keep in mind you can't bring any food stuff back into the country. When I'm on international trips, if I have a kitchen then I keep one or two fish and give the rest to the crew as a tip. If I don't have a kitchen then I just give them all the fish.
