I did a fun trip today on the big Mega Bite Frank Riganto II & III, Jamaul & Pat Cunningham were on board.Kings were the targeted species of the day.We put two live ones out with the Kite and it wasnt 20 minutes until Jamaul had a 37 lb smoker on the deck. Then both Franks hooked up with two fish just under citation size.the next fish was mine it went 23 lbs for another paper fish. The last fish was the largest Pat had it on for about 5 Minutes then the hook pulled that fish was about 50 ish but it just didnt hang on the hook. The water temp is still 72.5 the baits are everywhere this awesome king bite should keep up as long as we have this warm water around.Pictures will be posted as soon as Jamaul E mails them to me.It was nice having avid anglers on the boat today It was also nice to reel in a fish on my day off .

This was a fun trip so Shake N Bake didnt go.4 of the 5 knockdownd were on the Kite.Bo anytime you want to learn the Kite thing just let me know.I could even talk you through it at the Tackle shop and then on your boat down there you would definately be in phone range .LOL.For kings there is no set distance from shore you have to find the break or the Clean water.

I too have a Neptune 20 footer rigged with a four stroke Yamaha 115 hp.How far do you go out with it and where do you launch from? Most of my fishing (flounder)is from Cape Charles to the bridge tunnel.

You can launch at Owls Creek.
