I will be heading out for the first time this season for the stripers Wed night or early thurs morning. I will probably do some casting w/ bucktails and storms and maybe some trolling with stretches and small umbrella rigs. The problem is i don't know which bridge to choose right now out of the JRB, MM, or the HRT? Any suggestions?

If I get to go tomorrow night I'll let you know how I do, planning on starting at the HRBT b/c that's the closest for me and work my way up river if necessary. Check back wednesday morning/afternoon should def post by then if I make it.

dead sticking is casting you're strech 25 out and let it sit. it catches the current and looks the same as it would trolling, but only at 2 to 4'. caught several nice fish this year doing this

My Dad decided to fish with his neighbor this afternoon so I'm left in the cold don't think I'm going to go it alone, not at night anyway. Guess I'll have to wait till this weekend, good luck to anyone lucky enough to be fishing tonight, enjoy the weather.

Dead sticking definately works. Set your rod to strike then flip it up when it starts screaning. It's a sure thing. Good luck

You can definitely catch them during the day. Outgoing tide is the best for the Monitor Merrimac.
