Fished the incoming yesterday with a buddy using menhaden and live croaker and caught 10 stripers in about 2 hours between 17"-26". The 2 - 26" were fat healthy fish and both hit on croaker. I caught the croaker off of tanners point but it's getting harder to catch them .The bad news is when I got home and backed the boat in the driveway I noticed my engine cover was gone ! I filled the oil up yesterday and I guess I didn't get it latched right !? I retraced my path lastnight and again this morning and didn't see it. Anyone know where I can pick one up at a decent price ? I looked at Yamahas website lastnight and they wanted 411 bucks for a new one ! I just talked to the guys at Budget boats and he said he didn't know if he had the one I needed I would just have to come and look at them and they run from 40-120 bucks. Still a good day fishing with great weather though. Now it looks like the blow is coming .

nice to see you got into fish. a skunk and a lost cover would have really sucked
