I called the fishing center and they said 1 sword released bunch of sharks and NO TUNA! Not what we wanted to hear. Martin
Mega Bite
I saw them weighing in an 8 foot 100lb Blue Shark,a bunch of SeaBass and Tile Fish.It looked like a pretty good trip to me.

The tile fish were there, but not as thick as last time.... That shark was my fish!!! lol We may not have got any tuna in the boat, but I'm telling you, the two fish John and I had hooked on were big, and fast as hell..... I'm thinking they were big swordfish though.. It was still dark, around 4:30, and the lines were 480 feet down in 500 feet of water.... His snapped the 50 lb test almost automatically (one of the personal rigs that never should have been in the water), mine eventually broke off, but that was somewhat my fault.... The first man to hook into a big one like that got stripped..... Made quick work of him too.. 80lb test, 6/0 senator, drag hammred as tight as it would go, stripped every foot of line off in about 4 or 5 minutes.... Never gained a foot of line on him...... Wes, the mate, said everyone of those three hookups were 300 plus.... Probably swordfish... Definitely no shark.. They were way too fast....
