On the way in yesterday, we saw a school of big bluefish tailing/feeding on the surface just west of the 21 fathom finger...just some FYI

Last year there were schoolie BFT feeding along with the bluefish on the fingers. One hit, I had 9 lines go down, 7 were bluefish and 2 were BFT. Talk about chaos but sure was fun. Even increased my speed to 9 knots in hopes of getting away from the bluefish but still get the BFT but them pesky bluefish whacked me at 9 knots.
Bluefish = good bait.

My thinking exactly Mike! With water temps cool down so fast...it won't be long before we're seeing bluefin..if not already.

The Bluefin are here...I saw some yesterday coming in...they were busting on some bluefish..inside the fingers...probably a bit north of the hotdog..maybe triangle wreck area ....Bob
