Seems like no one posts on this section anymore so i figured i'd put a little something out here. I was wondering if anyone will be going out for striper this weekend, the water is supposed to be great! I'll be trolling the shipping channel and chumming from bouy 68 to 72. If anyone is comin out shoot me a message.

Not to be a smart a$$ but i don't think alot of people from Maryland know about this site because it's called Virginia Beach Sport Fishing and when people see it from maryland they probably don't know there's a form that covers on Maryland Fishing.

A friend of mine limited out on 30-32" fish trolling near buoy 86 last week. (Actually it's been almost 2 weeks now) He caught all his bigger fish on an umbrella with no weight. Before he had that out, it was all 20-24" fish. I think there's been a pretty good bite down where you'll be fishing too. Good luck.

Sounds like ya'll had a great day, i need to invest in some umbrella rigs! I was trolling bucktails with sassy shads, a crippled alwive spoon, some sergical tube lures, a plug and some other things and didn't get a hit all day. It was a beutieful day tho water was like glass. I had 2 planer boards out about 75 feet from the boat, saw a ton of birds working around bouy 68 all day, trolled past them many times and spotted tons of striper and bait on the finder but not a bite, we even tried casting swim shads and castmasters at the schoolies but no bite then either. we marked fish in the top 25 foot of the water and kept everything at that depth. All in all it was a great day and a bit warmer than i thought.
