Other than striper what is being caught in the bay, rivers or inlets? i heard that the specs were biting and the occasional flounder. Hopefully heading out soon and would like to be prepared for anything that might cross my path. fishing4.gif
Knot Too Fast
Tautog can be caught also. Flounder will be few and far between because I am pretty sure they are making the move to wrecks outside the bay. They can however be caught nearly year round. Some people reported catching an occasional flounder on mojos last year while striper fishing last year.

This is acutually true we were striper fishing at Cape henry late last january and there were tons of boats out there but the striper moved south to the OBX but we did actually see a couple boats bring a couple of flounder aboard most on mojos and some small shads on the bottom... good size too, we did not see anyone catch anything catch a single striper and their were hundreds of boats out there

Togs are the other main target this time of year.

I caught a flounder on an umbrella rig last year about this time. Go figure.
