Fished Rudee Inlet early Friday morning - plenty of bait but no bites out back or up front, and even off the jetties. Saw one guy in a kayak catch several small ones.
Had one bump on a mirror lure. The several fish I saw caught were on a green grub.

Wind settled down so I picked up and ran out to the turn and the third island.
Floated some eels around the pilings - saw several keepers caught at the second island. Caught one 31 inch fat Striper on outgoing tide third island, good fight on light tackle-hit a bucktail with white worm. Nice slot Striper but that was the only hit. Came in around 7 pm. Outgoig tide was not running very hard - may have picked up later.
It was one beautiful sunset and evening, little cold.
