Full Version: Wreck Coordinates

Does anyone know of a reliable source for wreck coordinates? I went looking for the Cape Henry Wreck this Saturday with numbers from Chespeake Angler Magizine but seemed to be at least half a mile from where the ADC chart indicated. Did catch a 38" striper there, but would really like to know if I was over the wreck. Checked some other spots on their list with some Artificial Reef coordinates, like at the ODU reef, smilie_kopf.gif and again about 1/2 mile off.

Thanks,

Wasting your time there too....most are bad. If you want the easy ones, then here you go.

The ones worth your time, are worth finding on your own....just a little advice.
Happy hunting.

Amen Gordy. You can also spend some time in the AWOIS Wrecks and Obstructions data base. If you take some time and look at the records you can tell which ones are good and easy to find. Lot of inshore stuff in there that does not get talked about or fished on much.
