Got on the water around 7pm last night. Water was a little rough, but not too bad. Setup at the 1st island with 2-3 other brave souls. Started fishing and the stipers rolled in. It was all you wanted past midnight (still feeling the burn). Average size was about 26 inches. A few close to thirty (throw backs), but it was fun times. I think I got my dad hooked on this striper thing. The best part was the nice smooth ride on the way back in. For those looking for slobs/cows, we meet some fellows who fished the High Rise with eels last night. They had 5 at least 40+ inches. Also, the JRB still has some hanging around. We caught a few on Wed. night. smilie_daumenpos.gif

What were you fishing with? Thanks
fishing247
We were using shad bodies (4-6 inches) in the colors of bubble gum, blue stripped tops, and blacked stripped tops. The bubble gum bodies with the blue tops seemed to do the best, but we were getting hits on whatever we threw. They were all over the water column. Caught several on top, which is always exciting to see. Our Lead weights were 2-4 ounces. Best of Luck!

Thanks a lot man, I'm fishing this coming friday night if the wife and mom agree. It was easier before I got married then me and my dad only had to convince my mom, now there's a second layer to get past or one of us finds another fishing partner.

Oh well tight lines, hope to see you out there and thanks again.
