Headed out Friday morning running out of Sturgeon Creek right at 7R in RAPP. we ran across some nice bait so we sat down & started trolling towards the brigde. Caught our first 2 fish within 15mins 1 was a slot fish 33 inchs the other was 35 inch . Kept trolling towards the brigde pickup another slot at 32 & 2 more 35 & 1 25 came in to get some lunch . Decided to go out for some catch & release fishing in the afternoon went back up to the brigde & trolled around til just before dark had 1 one more 32. Then the good fishing day went BAD started running in & my motor made a bunch of noise, lost power & shut down
Then it would'nt turn over finally got to crank & it didn't sound to good!!!!! My buddie Jim came & towed us back to Norveiw. [THANKS AGAIN JIM] Took it to my motor guy Sat. & Yep I blew it up $$$$$
With only 2 weekends left in the bay season I don't think i'll get it back in enough time !!! Owell there's always next year & i'll have to take my friends up on all those offers to fish with them now. Mark
