Depends on how fast your boat is . . laughing-smiley-014.gif j/k

Maybe 15 miles to the high rise or so. I can usually make the run in about 30-40 min in good conditions. Never fished the cape charles area, at least not on the bay side, fished around Cape Charles lighthouse but that's on the ocean side of the shore.

I'm trying to fish friday night and all day saturday if I can, might run over that way (high rise) and drop a few eels in some holes up there, maybe try floating them or hit Cape Henry Wreck and try my hand at bumper boats, might even try bottom bouncing some cut bait looking for a late season doormat.

You Fishing this weeknd?

Well I'll probably be heading back in before it gets dark but depending on when you're heading out but I could let you know how we did. I'll be on 68, YoungGun.

YOU DONT NEED TO RUN THAT FAR. WE HAVE BEEN FLOTTING EELS JUST PAST THE 4th. AND CATCHING FISH IN THE 43 TO 47 INCH RANGE. 27 TO 34 LBS. WENT OUT THERE 3 TIMES AND GOT FISH LIKE THAT EVERY TIME. 44 FEET OF WATER. EELS ABOUT 18 FEET DOWN. FRIDAY NIGHT 4 OF US WENT AND HAD THE FIRST FISH ON BEFOR WE COULD GET ALL THE RODS IN THE WATER. ALOT LESS SHARKS ALSO.

GOOD LUCK PAUL
