Went fishing with Andy and John (carolinaman)

Not many boats out today, left LC at 1200. We went straight out to CH and marked bait here and there. Birds here and there very spread out. Not much chatter on the radio, an ocasional BS story. So we ran south some. Made it off of dam neck and saw birds diving, trolled up and down in a out of bait balls. Finally caught one 34 inch fish. Trolled another hour and had 3 rods go down, 2 got off. sad.gif . But we found the fish, but we are running out of daylight. The sun quickly went down and we were about to pull lines when we had a hit, it was my turn to crank and it was taking line off the tld 25 pretty well, it was a big fish, but lost hime about 25ft from the boat. mad.gif

Made it home with a 34 and a 36, but had to really work for that.

Good luck on Saturday guys.

Thanks for the Report Eric! Darn the luck on the missed fish. Sounded like a slob. Heading out in the AM to try our luck again.

Take Care,

Thanks for the report. Tried to make it out, but had a minor engine problem and decided to work on it rather than take the chance. Will try again Monday and Tuesday if the weather is ok.

I guess about 6-7 miles south. We were just south of Rudee inlet. The first water tower right south of rudee is where damneck is, you also see various antennaes. Sandbridge starts south of the second water tower that is also called the golf ball.

Thanks for the report Eric, at least you put a couple nice class fish in the box. Some days go well than others, but having a good time with friends and being on the water makes the day even better if the fishing is a little slow. Bring Em In will be out there Sunday, not sure where to start, we will make the game plan tomorrow! We will be on 68-69-72...Give us a shout...Thanks again for the report Eric, tight lines,

-Chris

Thanks for the report. I was going to try CH tomorrow morning but now I am debating launching out of Owls Creek and heading south.

S-25 (Manns Stretch) in chart and blue, S-30 in chart and blue. Mojo daisy chain to a 32 oz chart mojo. and the only thing that did not get hit was the chart umbrella rig. We changed the inline weight from 24, 28 and 10 oz on the umbrella rig.
