Fished CH from 0700 until 1400. Pretty slow. Scattered bait marks most of the day and not much bird action. Managed one 34" striper on a 9" pearl storm off a mojo and one 24" striper off a Stretch 25, blue chrome dotted color (new?). One fish in box is better then none. Guess I should of headed south.

CH may be the place to be later this week when the weather warms.

from what the idiots said on the radio it sounded like the bite was south. it seemed like it was pretty early though. i got a late start due to jim beam and his friends and me being my dumbass self.

ALso out at CH on Sat. SLOW day... put one 37" in the box on a
stretch 25 (red head) had one 24" throw back again on a
strech 25 (Minnow pattern). NO hits on the White daisy chain or
the Chart. Umbrella rig all day? seems the stretch was the bait
of choice?

Sounds like South may have better bet? I read a post from Bob (Still Think'n)
sounds like they killed em!
