Fished all day Saturday aboard Knot'Wishin with Todd(TMBeck), Jeff(Black Pearl). We started out of rudee and ran south to sandbridge. Marked tons of bait all over the place but not much in the way of fish. Did manage two including this really nice fat one. It was a lot of fun fishing with Todd and Jeff.

Left rudee today at about 8:30 after Todd dropped the boat in the water and had to bring his trailer home. Went straight out of rudee and the day started slow. We finally started getting decent marks and we got slammed on the 20 oz. tandem but the fish breaks loose a few minutes after. A little more trolling and a whole lot more boats we get hit on an 8oz. single and it is a nice 38 incher. Todd's son Jake worked the pit like a champ clearing a tangle and other lines while I am fighting this fish from way back. We continue troll for a little while after and decide to pack it in. I will post pics of todays fish a little later.

Good job guys. We were taking up right next to you at the ramp. I saw the boat name, but wasn't sure if it was someone from this board.

We ended up with nothing. Ran down off False Cape and then worked our way back up. We called it quits early and headed home with a empty box. Maybe next time.

I hope you got the Buds out of the cooler before dumping the fish in. That would be a bad rookie mistake having to drink fishy beer.

aaahhh never wasted a cold beer in my life . I use the fish box for trash and they were in the boat from saturdays trip with Jeff. Gotta love your way of thinking though !

also that fish ate a 2 ounce parachute with a 9 inch shad.... she already had 3 live bunker in the mouth when she hit the deck...glutten !
