Ran out to Cape Henry after school. Fished from 2:30-dark and not a bite. Tried everything but no luck. Heard some talk of fish being caught at the golfball but by that time it was to late to run there.

Damn, CH has been slow this year. Thanks for the report. Hopefully it will pick up soon.

It was slow all the way around we tried everywhere, CH, the golf ball, sandbridge, false cape and everywhere in between. I threw every thing I had at every depth and only had one knockdown, only marked bait at the golf ball, saw no birds working at all! Saw a few fish caught here and there. The only consolation was that it was a beautiful day and I wasn't at work. smile.gif

Fished from CH to Corolla Light... 2 fish is all we caught and didn't get them until 2:00 pm. The bite off Smith Island and CC was pretty steady and the charters did well. Guess I didn't go north far enough.

It's the water tower just south of Rudee Inlet so named because it looks like a giant golfball on a tee.
