Here is a late report from Sunday 1/06. We left Lynnhaven at about 7:00am with 5 guys onboard. We had planned to head south to the False Cape but decided to head out to the 3 mile line out past the green can off Cape Henry. We joined up with about 50 other boats and started to troll. We were marking alot of bait and fish in 50 to 55 feet of water. About 10:30 we had the 9'er umbrella rig get hit, while still reeling in this first fish another umbrella rig gets hit. Brought both of these fish in and then the stretch 30 gets hit. All of these fish were 35-38". That was three fish in all in about a 5 minute time span. Trolled the line for a few more hours with only smaller throw back fish and then about 1:30-2:00pm the 9'er gets hit with another 38" fish. Ended up hooking 2 more fish around the same area and decided to troll towards the green can. Marked tons of fish and hooked up on a few throw backs. Called it quits and headed in about 3:00pm. Great day on the water especially since Saturday all we could catch were the small ones.

Nice report,
I met you at the boatel. I was the kid with the group with the 22' Wellcraft boat next to you. Im right in the background getting handed the rods with the red beanie. Were you the gentlemen with the orange chest waders?
Yes, that was me in the bright orange pants. You guys had a nice catch also that day.
