On my way out of the Bay I passed a fleet of small boats. Looked like they were dragging nets.
Anyone know what / who they were?
Just curious. I don't usually see many commercial fishing boats around when I'm fishing.

They were probably dredging for crabs.
About half way between Lesner and Cape Henry there are pound nets off to starboard. I have seen three boats working the pound nets there many times. They usually tie up near Bubba's @ Lynnhaven seafood.
