Delkins,

There really isn't a model for mine, it is the 16'7" hull. It was manufactured at the Rockland, Mass. plant in Nov. of 1971 and shipped to Williamsburg, VA as a bare hull which according to the guys at Boston Whaler was a common practice for the time. I called and got the info from their hull ID records. My friend owned it before me and it was his fathers before him. They got it in 1983 and before that it was used as a crabbing boat. Basically it is a Montauk style, Center console etc, but since they did not officially call it the Montauk until I believe 1973, I just call it the 16'7" hull. Great boat, handles rough water like a champ. For the most part the hull is in good shape. There is some transom delamination which is common with older whalers but I hope to fix this in the spring. Which model you have? Looks like the Montauk from the picture. I like the bow rail, wish I had one. Mine just has the side rails.

Marty,

Yup, I replaced the antenna and it has worked fine since. Thanks for the advice.
