CanyonRunner Seminar, Atlantic City, gets an Grade A from me. Lots of good information shared.
It was well worth the time and money to travel up there to AC.

I would of given it a grade A+, but they never called my number for one of the MANY nice prizes they gave out.

Well done Runners.

This seminar is a must see for any serious offshore fisherman/woman...The guys from Canyon Runner were Top Notch putting out tons of good info and answering any and all questions...No secrets here my friend.....The captains kept the presentation moving at a great pace and the breakout sessions were the main event....I went to Small boat breakout, electronics, Sea Temps, Swordfishing and Stand up fighting from Dennis Braid...Tons of good information...the CD and the Power Point presentation are full of all the information.....Highly recommend this session if you want to improve your game. I know Team Still Think'n will be putting some of the things we learned to use on the tuna tournament trail this year......Good job guys....and great seeing all the VBSF.NET folks up there...good time was had by all I'm sure !......HEre's a picture of what you'll be putting in the box if you listen to Canyon Runner !.....Bob
short comings
Had a great time. Thank you to Canyon Runners for the ticket donations and to VBSF's Blue Water Classic for affording me the opportunity. Not sure I would have made the voyage initially had I not won the ticket. Well worth it even if I hadn't. Some excellent break out sessions. Others seemed a bit too basic but guess they are covering all their bases. Astrobud311 and I attended Swordfishing(excellent), Electronics(most popular of the day, added an additional session at end of day), temp breaks(great info) small boat/big fish(some good info here) and Ballyhoo rigging for tuna and marlin(was hoping for some more advanced info from them but this was very basic, would not recommend burning on of your break outs for this in the future) Overall had a great weekend. Was great seeing Bob, Dave, Otter, Marc, Jack and the rest of the VBSF group up in AC.....Looking forward to spring and trying some of this info out on the water.

Thanks for the replies!! We are always trying to present the most current and useful techniques during our seminars. We're about putting people on fish, whether on our charter boats or you fishing on your own boat. If we help one person catch one more tuna we've succeeded.

For those that missed the Atlantic City seminar, we still have 3 more scheduled for this year, Long Island, NY - March 29, 2008 * * * Annapolis, MD - April 13, 2008 * * * Newport, RI - April 26, 2008.

We're getting ready to head to sunny Florida for Sails and Swords! We'll keep you posted on our trips!!
