Decided to head out to the cbbt and try and catch a few stripers for some C&R action. We swung by the third to see if there were any over the tube. I thought I saw a head in the rocks and told my dad but he didn't believe me. Sure enough a seal popped up, then another, then another. There were at least 4 or 5 seals swimming around. We continued on and found some fish just past the 4th. We ended up catching quite a few fish but nothing big. Swung back on the way in and the seals were still hanging out in the same spot.

Cool. Thanks for the report. I bet those seals are fattening up on menhaden.

I haven't seen them in the bay for a couple years. However, I have seen one during the winter months in Rudee Inlet. I think it is the same one that comes back every year.
One of my friends has a nickname for him, but it escapes me right now.... Oh yeah, she calls him Leroy...
