I was wondering the same thing the other day. Can anyone give confirmed catches around the tower area?
I sure it will be turning on soon as the water begins to warm up in the next month or so.

what is at the tower this time of year beside bluefish

I'd think the Triangle Wrecks and the CLT would be good places to try. Try a hi-lo dropper loop bottom rig and use squid, clams, etc or jig with small heavy metal jigs. Good luck!
Cache-N-Release
Fished wrecks near the CLT on Saturday. Not much going on, only small Seabass and Dogfish. Beautiful day on the water though. I wonder if the Triangle would have been worth the extra gas?
T-T
Fished some wrecks near the light tower Sat some nice togs around bigger Sea Bass are east this time of year 100+ feet of water

This time of year you want to go to wrecks in 30 fathom or deeper. Tile fishing in the 50 fathom + mud/shale flats usually gets you some nice jumbo seabass as well.
