Dave & I left Cobb's at 7:15am heading for Cape Henery. Found a few boats in about 60' of water with temps around 38 degrees. Air temps were around 50 degrees. We didn't mark anything so we headed to the 3 mile line in search of warmer water and fish... Still didn't mark fish or bait. Came back closer to shore to about 35-40' of water near the point to find bait and low flying birds. No hits for us for the whole day.
My father and brothr in law (in the pic) ended up catching a 32" fish after we left to go home... They caught this on a white spinner bait trolling with tthe current...
Radio chatter revealed that not many other boats were catching fish so I was not as hard on myself, however Martin and Jarrett stuck it out till they landed one. Good job guys!
