Every year there are usually 1 or 2 that hang around the 3rd Island. I might have a pic and I'll post it if I can find it.

About every other year the Marine Science folks rescue 1-2 for some reason or another. I myself have never had the pleasure of sighting any.

I'm pretty sure I saw one in Lynnhaven across from Chicks Restaurant. It was in the water and was kind of dark, but the head was massive, so I figured that's what it was.

I've seen several seals up and down the east coast. All of the ones I saw were Harbor Seals.

Yep, I have seen Harbor Seals several times this winter hanging around the rock islands of the CBBT. Last month I also saw one near the James River Bridge, which surprised me being that far upriver.
