Well, the short answer is -- it ain't changing in the near term.
There is a LONG stationary front from Kansas to 300 miles offshore of New Jersey and about 6 low pressure areas sitting along the entire front. Counter-clockwise flows out of these lows are driving brisk southwest winds from northern Virginia to well south of Wilimington, NC.This condition will remain through Sunday night until the front diisapates or moves.
I don't think you are going to be fishing east of North Carolina until Monday at the earliest and perhaps later than that.
Continue working on your tackle -we are done for this week.

The problem with wife honey-dos is you can't stock up too many as they have short expiration dates. So when it comes to honey-dos you have to pace yourself by spreading them out over time.

You got that right. A case of short term memory. Can't wait for the winds to die off and get everything wet again.

I have found during April and early May, you just about have to have some weekdays to fish. These early spring fronts are so frequent and strong there are only short cracks in between them that it lays down enough to fish. It unfortunately seldom lines up right on weekend. I think we are going to have to jump in there when we can.
One boat made it out of the OI fishing center today. bluefins, blackfin, mako --good variety. At least while we are waiting the fish population is picking up steam.
