We got a late start Saturday as we were not as organized as we should have been on our first tow to the salt and the longer tow to HI decision. We blast outta there and find that hard break that looked textbook. Pulled med hoo up and down it all day for notta. It kept pushing out until we were so far north we should have docked at OI and gotten a ride back to pick up the truck at HI. I guess it happens.

Sorry to hear about your friend Jack. All of you, and his family are in our prayers back here in SW, VA.

I feel your pain. We ramped at OI and ran all the way to HI and fished all the way back to OI with only one knockdown all day. This was our 2nd trip from OI this year and made 1 trip from HI with only some Fat Alberts and a lost Wahoo to show for our time, efforts and expenses. But heck, that's why it's fishing and heck, we love being on the water. We're gonna wait a couple weeks for things to develop a bit more before trying again.
