After reading Dr. Julie Ball's fishing report, we got underway out of Rudee Inlet Saturday morning and headed to the Tower Reef, weather was great. Caught 8 Togs, smallest was 14". Also got some decent size Sea bass. Only saw 4 - 5 boats fishing tower reef, used the map of Tower Reef structures provided by VMRC to find some good fishing spots.

thanks for the report, any size to the sea bass "keepers". wanted to get out after son ball game but got lazy. can't catch em that way
Yes, we kept 2 that were 20", all caught using blue crabs. We must of caught around 50 sea bass out there while fishing for Taug, 1/3 of those were at least 10" or more. I don't have a scale on the boat so I don't know the weight.

We only kept a couple of Sea Bass, all of which were well above 12", I was just saying that 1/3 of the Sea Bass we caught were at least 10".
