Heading out on the bay next weekend and was wondering what all the experts have to say about where to go, what to fish for, and any other advice for the day, including rig and bait advice.
Thanks in advance.

Drum, flounder, croaker, striped bass just to name a few.

Drum
Fishfinder rigs on the ES side shoals. crab, clam for bait.

Flounder
Well I do not know how to catch one, but when I attempt, I use squid and gungeon sandwich and bounce it off the bottom while drifting around the bend near the 3rd island, or near the channels of the CBBT.

Croaker
double dropper rig with squid

Striped bass. Take croaker for a ride to the tubes of the CBBT and put a 8/0 circle hook in their nose and send them down. 80# mono leader, try and suspend it off the bottom or you will get hung up.

ya if it was me going to the tube ill wire line it put a 3way with about a 2 foot 20lb leader on the bottom so if u do get stuck you will just loose the sinker and put about a 4to 5 ft leader on the top with a little buck tale u can dress it up with a 6"shad it take a little to get use to it but it will get u some fish!!! good luck vbsf_th.jpg
