I'm not trying to be cool!!!
Can I post more than 2 pics now????
If not then I'll have to continue posting the link and if that's not cool enough then I simply won't post?!?!?!

Bruce, Ron, Tony and I planned a Memorial Day gaffer trip in Hatteras a few weeks back, we were hoping the weather would cooperate and it did. We arrived around 5:00 pm Saturday evening and set up camp right next to Teach’s Lair Marina. We had made arrangements to park Tony’s RV there with Teach’s owner Roy. I want to add Roy and the entire staff of Teach’s Lair were fantastic and we are looking forward to fishing there again soon. Thanks Roy and staff!!!
First day of fishing started out with zero wind and a beautiful ride out to an area just north of the Rockpile. The wind picked up as forecasted out of the NE and made the gulf stream quite snotty. We stuck it out till 2:00 pm and managed to pick up two nice gaffers. We headed back to Teach’s, cooked out and got everything set up for the next day. Monday came, we headed out to the 280 rocks and decided to head east till we found a second temp break, we found it and were promptly rewarded with three nice gaffers. Things slowed a bit and we decided to had inshore we got to the 218 line in 17 fathoms and we mark a Striper season size bait ball so I put the auto pilot on “cloverleaf” and worked the area over and this made our day double and triple mahi hook-ups and a few FAs mixed in made for great fun. Headed back through increasing SE winds at 3:30 and headed home.
Not quite the day we had last Memorial Day but certainly fun. Thanks to Roy at Teach’s Lair for letting us stay the weekend. A big thanks to Ron, Tony and Bruce for making the trip possible!!!

nice shots and looks like a good trip...thanks for the report....
as far as being cool....well I just think that Tony has put a ton of work into this site to build a great place for people to hang out. You put a link up to another site and are basically telling him you don't want to use his site for reports but would like his customers to go to another site and check out your report. on one site you are a supportor, on this site your not.
I know that if I put up a report on another site I at least have the courtesy to not link it to VBSF, which would probably be removed on tidal fish by a moderator.
I don't know why your getting all pissy with me but if that's what trips your trigger then fine....doesn't bother me one bit......Bob

Nice shots Lou...looks like a great trip...Mahi from sea- to cooler- to grill...nothing better than that.
Now the moderator response. Like Bob said...Tony, our supporters, and sponsors spend lots of time and money to make this site what it is. Posting a link to another similar site with different sponsors and supporters is not what VBSF sponsors pay for. Put yourself in the shoes of our sponsors...in any business you wouldn't want people telling your customers to go somewhere else for information or products. Your reports are informative and you've got great pics of fish, so next time, just copy and paste your report instead of linking it. You've got the picture posting thing down, too so it should be no problem.
Good luck on your next trip and look forward to your next report!
Case closed.

Thanks for your loyal support Bob. All is well ..... No harm, don't mind links to Tidal Fish, it's a great site. We're is a different kind of site ... "we're all local". They're global.
I think it would be fun to have a local VBSF / Tidal Fish shoot-out Tourney someday! I want Bob, Don, Dave, Marlin and the rest of you guys fishing for the VBSF Team! Bob bring your horseshoe! Don bring some GRL's, a few G&H ones too!
